We keep hearing about how social networking sites make around millions every month. Well it's time they started sharing that with us! Yuwie is the first social networking site that we have heard of that aims to share profits with users.

The way it works it that you set up a profile, do a blog, upload photos and videos and basically do what you do with all the other networking sites, but make money at the same time.

Yuwie pays you by advertising revenue. Each month the percentage is changed according to the revenue generated the previous month, and you are then paid that amount per 1000 page views - that's pages that you and your friends view. So say it's 15¢ per 1000 page views, that may not sound like much, but when you're logged in, it counts as one page view when you view:

* your profile page
* your blog pages
* your friend's pages
* your comments pages
* if someone else views one of your shared pages
* any of your control panel pages

What doesn't count includes: refreshing a page, any page that's viewed within 3 seconds of the last page, and any view from a 'guest' or non logged in visitor.
